Spandana Educational Social and Cultural Organization was set up as a non-profit charitable trust that would mobilize public opinion and generate resources for supporting development action in Mandya District, Karnataka. The founders recognized the right of the rural community to lead a life of dignity and Self-respect in a just and equitable Society; and the need to Improve the capacities of individuals and communities to improve the quality of their lives And enhance their ability to negotiate from the position of strength. A strength that would Come from being educated, in good health and having the capacity to be engaged in Productive work.

The Mandya District has completed a total literacy campaign and initiated “Continuing Education Program” to Sustain the interest & learning ability of illiterates. The organization is providing the motivational inputs to the CESC of project villages, through their Prerakas and Sub-Prerakas. This is one of the regular activities where the need-assessment studies of illiterates are also conducted so as to increase the interest of the illiterates.
Computer Training Program
SESCO was conducted three months training program on basic computer from 01st January 2020 to 30 March 2020. The training was organized in the Mangala village of Mandya Taluk. Imparted basic computer education to 15 men and 10 women trainees and were benefited from the program.
